Surcharge in UAE

According to the directives of the tourism departments of the Emirates of Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, all tourists are required to pay a tourism tax.

The tax is paid directly upon hotel check-in (per night of stay) on the day of arrival. The amount is based on the hotel’s star rating and room category.

The fee is calculated according to the number of bedrooms in the unit.

Payment can be made in cash (AED or foreign currency) or by credit card at the hotel's exchange rate.

The amounts shown in the table below are per room, per night, in AED.

This tax does not apply to residents holding a valid UAE residence visa.

When paying a hotel deposit:

• If paid in USD, the refund will be made in AED only, at the hotel’s exchange rate on the day of checkout.
• If paid by credit card, the amount is blocked (not charged) and will be unblocked by the hotel after checkout. The return time depends on the guest’s bank and may take up to 30–40 days. Guests should monitor their bank balance for the refund.

Before contacting the hotel or agency, guests should verify with their bank the expected refund timeline and transaction status using the authorization code or transaction details.

Group transfers are not available for tourists in wheelchairs. We recommend that such guests book a private transfer in a specially equipped vehicle with a wheelchair ramp. Prices are available upon request.

• Private Transfer – guests are met with an Anex sign.
• Priority Private Transfer – guests are met with a personalized name sign.
• Priority Express Transfer – guests are met with an Anex sign; direct transfer to the hotel (no stops at other hotels).
• Accessible Transfer – for guests with limited mobility in vehicles equipped with a wheelchair ramp (price upon request).

Child Seat:

• Child seats for children under 5.99 years old are only available on private transfers.
• An additional charge of 25 USD per child per one-way transfer applies. This service is non-commissionable.
• Child seats must be pre-ordered when submitting the booking request.
• Important: This service is not available for Lexus ES350, BMW, Mercedes S-Class, or Stretch Limousines.

Additional Charges:

• A 25 USD parking fee will be added to the base fare when booking a Toyota Hiace arrival transfer to DXB – Dubai Airport Terminal 3.
• A 65 USD parking fee will be added to the base fare when booking a Stretch Limousine or Hummer Limousine arriving at DXB – Dubai Airport Terminals 1 or 3.
• For Stretch Limousine or Hummer Limousine bookings, an additional Toyota Hiace vehicle is required for luggage transport.
• Guide services in other languages may be available upon request at an extra charge of 50 USD per one-way transfer. This service is non-commissionable.

Notes:

• This service is commissionable.
• Prices are listed in USD per vehicle, one-way (OW).
• Return transfer from hotel to airport is charged at the same rate.
• If booking one shared transfer for tourists from different requests, a written request must be submitted to the tour operator.
• Important: Specific conditions apply for Lexus, BMW 7 Series, and Mercedes S-Class:
  1. Airport-to-hotel transfer (from Dubai or Abu Dhabi airports) is available to all Emirates.
  2. Hotel-to-airport transfer (to Dubai or Abu Dhabi airports) is only available for hotels located within the Emirates of Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Transfers from other Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah) are not available.
