Visas in UAE
- As of October 13, 2020, the UAE government has implemented the following entry requirements for all tourists:
– Tourists must present a printed travel voucher and return ticket.
– If a tourist is unable to provide travel documents at the border, they may pay USD 600 to obtain permission to enter the country.
Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in deportation. - To enter the UAE, each traveler—regardless of age or nationality—must have their own passport. Visas will not be issued to children listed in a parent's passport, per UAE Immigration.
- Citizens of Ukraine and Kazakhstan can obtain a visa upon arrival in the UAE.
- A child’s visa application can only be submitted after the parents’ visas are issued. Visa processing takes a minimum of four working days. Please take this into account when submitting documents. Note that Friday is a weekend day in the UAE.
- When uploading a scanned passport to the personal account for visa application, only include the personal data page (vertically oriented) to avoid quality issues.
- Visa documents for the UAE may be submitted no earlier than one month before the start of the tour. For example, if your tour begins on December 30, documents may not be submitted before December 1.
- Documents will only be accepted by the visa department if the original forms are completed in the personal account, with mandatory scanned photo and passport data page attached.
- Visa processing begins only after full payment for the tour. Partially paid bookings will not be accepted.
Visa processing typically takes about 5 working days (Fridays are weekends in the UAE). However, delays from UAE immigration may occur. Therefore, we strongly recommend submitting visa applications at least 2 weeks before departure.
Indian citizens entering the UAE for tourism will be issued a 90-day visa upon arrival.
This visa can be obtained at any UAE airport and is free of charge. Passports must be valid for at least 190 days from the tour start date. For each re-entry into the UAE, a new visa will be issued upon arrival.
Important: This policy does not apply to children listed in their parents' passports. Every Indian citizen, including minors, must have their own passport.
Indian citizens born in Middle Eastern countries must present a notarized English or Arabic translation of their birth certificate at border control.
The visa application procedure remains unchanged for citizens of other countries; visas must still be obtained in advance.
Previously issued visas for Indian citizens remain valid. No refunds will be provided for unused visas.
Visa on arrival for minors traveling to the UAE:
- If a child arrives with one or both parents and shares the same surname, a birth certificate (original) is sufficient. A notarized English translation is recommended.
- If a child arrives with one or both parents and has a different surname, an original birth certificate and an English translation (preferably notarized) are required.
- If a child is traveling without parents or accompanied by a third party, the original birth certificate and notarized consent from both parents in English must be presented.

- Applications will be denied if the applicant’s last UAE visit ended less than 30 days prior, unless the previous stay was under 14 days.

If a tourist overstays their visa, UAE Immigration imposes a one-time fine of USD 2,500 plus USD 41 for each additional day of overstay.
Penalties apply starting from the 31st day after entry. The agency that booked the traveler bears responsibility if the traveler’s whereabouts are unknown.
To contest a fine, a copy of the passport with exit stamps must be provided.
If the tour is canceled, the visa will also be canceled. Since the tour operator cannot guarantee the proper use of the visa after cancellation, a cancellation fee of USD 85 applies.
The visa fee is USD 80.
No visas are issued to children listed in a parent's passport.
Children with their own passports are issued visas at the full adult rate of USD 80.
