Surcharge in Qatar
To ensure mandatory taxes and fees don’t come as unexpected expenses, we have compiled information on additional charges in Qatar.

Transfer to Banana Island:
After clearing passport control and collecting baggage, guests should proceed to the Informational Desk with their voucher, where a driver or a Discover Qatar representative will be waiting with a sign.
The Informational Desk is located in the arrivals area inside the airport terminal, where meet-and-greet usually takes place. Guests will be taken to a special terminal on the waterfront, from where they will board a boat to the island hotel. The boat ride takes approximately 35 minutes.
Upon check-in, guests will be asked to provide their return flight time and transfer details to arrange boat service accordingly.
Guests must arrive at the waterfront terminal exactly 3 hours before their return flight departure from Doha, where a Discover Qatar representative or driver will meet them with a sign for escort to the airport.

Notes:
- Prices include commission.
- Transfers cover airport-to-hotel or hotel-to-airport routes.
- Child car seats are available upon request at 15 USD one way (for children up to 30 kg).
- Children over 2 years old must have their own seat.
- Infants must be booked as children and have their own seat.
- To receive your transfer, proceed to the Discover Qatar (DQ) Information Desk (located in arrivals, between airport exits 2 and 3).
- Maximum waiting time at the airport is 1 hour 30 minutes. No refund will be given for no-shows.
- Each passenger is allowed strictly one piece of luggage weighing up to 32 kg.
